Hi guys, I have just found a few spare minutes to mess around with my blog layout and update some of the info on it.
Please feel free to comment on the layout and if there are any problems. Revamping it is part of me trying to focus myself for the reaminder of the year and the challenges ahead.
My training has been going reasonably well with 200+miles each month and I am getting a bit faster.
My weight has slowly reduced too with it currently hovering around 14st 2lbs which is the lowest for a while. Though I still need to really drop another stone to be at a really good weight for running for me. This has probbably helped with my speed too. I have mostly dropped weight by reducing my bread and processed grains intake – not quite Paleo but reducing the bread, Pasta and cereals I have and upping the fruits and nuts has really been the main influence altyhough I still probbably eat too much.
In other news I am running the Halstead marathon at the weekend as my last long run before the GUCR on the 24th which is a 145mile trail run from Birmingham to London along the old Grand Union Canal.
