Another boring beard update!

So at day #17 now in this not very interesting beard growing saga and it looks like this:

So properly starting to look like a beard and not just a scruffy git not shaving, a bit of grey in it but not as much as I thought there might be and very little ginger which is good!

In other news I had a great day at the SDW50 on Saturday crewing for Maxine as she completed the race with seconds to spare! I wont say much about it apart from what a great effort at the end to scrape a finish just inside the cut off and what a grand gesture by Sarah the ladies winner to donate her trophy to the last lady finisher.
I’m really glad she made it in time as I know Centurion take their cut offs seriously and she was in danger of being timed out with only feet to go.

I managed to run about 10miles on out and backs during the race which was great training on hills, it was good to see people out on the course enjoying the outdoors and as always great events organised by Centurion Running put on by James and his team. Some epic performances at the front and all the way through the field. The winner averaging just over 7mm over that terrain is amazing!

See you at another boring beard blog in a few days…..
